This is an engrossingly suspenseful story with marvelously well developed and colorful characters. January LaVoy is a great narrator and displays her expertise with her narration of this audiobook and voicing of these characters. This is not a legal thriller, which Grisham is known for, and there's no courtroom drama in this story, but there's plenty of suspense and even a hint of believably realistic romance. The story is complete, although it's the first book in a series. I highly recommend this audiobook to fans of character-driven suspense stories.
