#11.5 in Lincoln Rhyme
Average Rating: 5.0
Eduardo Rinaldo was a deliveryman -- though some of his cargo was less than legit. When he's found murdered, Lincoln Rhyme and Amelia Sachs take the case; but soon their focus moves from catching a killer to hunting down the last delivery he made. Somewhere in New York City, some very dangerous goods are missing... and Rhyme and Sachs are not the only people on the trail.
This is just a short story, and as such, there's not much in the way of character development or Deaver's usual deep research. The story is every bit as suspenseful, though.
Edoardo Ballerini reads this short story. He seems to have finally embraced the voice of Lincoln Rhyme. His performance is excellent.
